Course Overview
Master the commercial, legal, and operational elements that shape successful negotiation of GSAs and PPAs in today’s energy markets.
Course Overview
Gas Supply Agreements (GSAs) and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) form the backbone of contractual relationships in natural gas commercialisation and electricity generation. These long-term contracts determine risk allocation, pricing structures, supply security, investment attractiveness, and long-range market stability.
This course provides a practical, structured, and industry-focused exploration of how GSAs and PPAs are negotiated, drafted, implemented, and managed—highlighting commercial levers, legal pitfalls, performance requirements, bankability factors, and negotiation dynamics.
Participants will work through real-world examples and case-aligned scenarios to understand pricing methods, take-or-pay provisions, delivery obligations, credit support, force majeure frameworks, regulatory considerations, and risk-mitigation tools. The objective is to equip professionals with the insight and confidence to navigate complex agreements and support strategic energy transactions.
